Mini Drugstore Haul and Swatches!

Hi everybody! I'm going to blog about a lip-gloss trip that turned into a mini-haul for this post. So today I was in the mood to pick up a new lip gloss. There has been a certain shade I've been lusting for by Revlon since seeing a few swatches of it on luuux. It was called Pink Whisper. I quickly changed my mind when I got to the make-up aisle at Walgreens and realized that I have a pink gloss close to the same shade already (my Sally Hansen Lip Infatuation in Sheer Pink). I really like the Revlon Super Lustrous gloss I already have (Dusty Rose) so I decided to pick up another in the shade 170 Coral Reef. I LOVE it! Although I've seen the coral trend everywhere, I had yet to try it out for myself until today. I really think this gloss suits me and I'm very impressed. Not only is it simply pretty, it also contains SPF 15 =)

Ha Ha Lip Face! Sometimes it can be really difficult to arrange your photos on blogger. I'm keeping these like this! lol

I also purchased two other items besides my Revlon Super Lustrous Coral Reef gloss. I picked up a Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Blackest Black and Schwarzkopf got2b Guardian Angel gloss finish Flat Iron Balm. I used to wear Maybelline Great Lash in middle school and much of high school and it worked just fine for me then, but I've broken out of my shell and have tried different products since then and I'm really not all that impressed with it this time around. It will do until I get another mascara but thats about it. There is nothing super special about this mascara. I even find that the Wet N Wild mascara I purchased lifts and seperates better than this one and that mascara cost a lot less. I know Great Lash is like everyones go-to  drugstore mascara but I'm really wishing I would've just gave in and splurged on the Lash Stiletto that a lot of beauty bloggers and YouTubers have been raving about. Here is a picture of me with just the mascara and the Coral Reef gloss on. Please ignore my skin, I'm pregnant and its been really problematic lately... (I'm thinking about trying out Philosophy, Clean N Clear made it worse...review on that later)

I was sitting all scrunched up, squished between a nightstand and a wall underneath a lamp with a mirror balanced on my knees to get this picture in good lighting! The strides I will go to take daylight pictures at 8:00pm...

As many of you know I was really impressed with Schwarzkopf got2b CrazySleek Flat Iron and Blow Dry Lotion for blowouts. Anyway I was browsing through the haircare aisle and was about to put got2b's Smooth Operator Smoothing Lustre Lotion in the cart (the packaging is super cute!) when I saw got2b Guardian Angel Flat Iron Balm. I've been thinking to myself lately that I oughta flat iron my hair more often, it's really long and I get lots of compliments on it when I do so when I saw this I was like well I could combine this with my CrazySleek for extra heat protection! 

It says it protects hair up to 425 degrees! The packaging for this stuff is nice too, ha ha I'm a sucker! I sprayed the bottle on my hands after I took the picture (top) and I was overcome with joy! I can't believe I didn't smell it until I got home. It smells absolutely amazing! It's literally like perfume. My hair is going to smell so good that I'm going to have a constant mustache on days I use it! My hair will literally be glued to my nose, thats what happens when my hair smells good... I can't wait to try this and review it for you. If you remember, in my review on Crazy Sleek I wasn't super pleased with the orange creme sherbet smell it had to it. The guardian angel protector is a totally different story. 

So that was my mini-haul. I believe it all came out to about $22.00. I'm still wishing I got the Lash Stiletto mascara to try out instead, but all well. I hope you enjoyed my post! Don't forget to follow (see sidebar)!
